So my friend e-mails me this image that he StumbledUpon or something while dicking around on the internet.
He doesn’t watch and/or read G.o.T., but he knows I do, “I don’t understand this, but maybe you might like it?”
And because I am in the middle of Storm of Swords (literally at 52%) and have watched the show since it started and I LURVE Dany, I geeked out a little telling him about the character…
First of all, the actress who plays her is GORGEOUS
And the character herself is TOTALLY B.A.
She marries this “Savage” “Horse King” so her bro can use the Horsie People Army to “take back his throne”, but because the Horsie People are savages, they have to wait for a “good omen” or something to actually do that. In the meantime Sexy Horse King (who went on to play Conan in that awful movie remake…but he is still super hot) knocks Blondie up. Again because they are savages they make her eat a horse heart to bless the baby or whatever.
Their version of those creepy chicks from Hercules…
…prophesize that basically the baby is The Ultimate King of The Horsies and he’s going to “rule the world.”
Fan art and show still (below) depicting the end of the first book/season when Daenarys enters her husband’s funeral pyre (aka they are cremating his body on a giant-stack-of-fire, and p.s. this is after some magic voodoo sh*t that kills both Horse King Hubby and unborn King of all the Horsies) with her 3 previously-thought-to-be-extinct dragon eggs, and living through the fire and oh-yeah-the-freaking-eggs-hatch and now she’s Mother of Dragons.
Now I am just geeking out…
